This setting allows two options, “Yes” or “No”. The default setting is “No”.

When set to “Yes”, the user must have a qualifying membership tag in order to login. If set to “No”, any user may login regardless of whether or not they have an active membership.

This does not eliminate the need for a contact record to exist in Infusionsoft. It only eliminates the need for the contact to have a valid membership in order to login. This can be useful to allow members with inactive memberships to login to buy additional access, update payment information, etc.
