In this guide, I’ll show you how to migrate from CustomerHub to Memberium for Infusionsoft.
Migrating from CustomerHub is essentially transferring your content to WordPress and protecting that content with Memberium.
You won’t have to worry about migrating users and their passwords or moving any billing data. Memberium, like CustomerHub, will be able to pull all of that existing data right from Infusionsoft.
A migration from CustomerHub can be done in just 4 steps:
- Move Content into WordPress
- Create Membership Levels
- Protect Your Content
- Follow Getting Started Videos
Move Content into WordPress
The biggest part of this migration is moving your content from CustomerHub to WordPress. There is no automated way of doing this, but I’ll cover the most common items that need to be moved.
On each page you have in CustomerHub, you’ll want to copy and paste your content into a WordPress page or post.
Text & Images
Migrating your text and images is simply copy and paste. You may need to download and import your images into WordPress if copy and pasting them isn’t working.
You’ll copy the content of a page from CustomerHub, you’ll create a page in WordPress, and then paste in the copied content.
Videos
Unlike CustomerHub, Memberium does not provide video hosting. Instead, we recommend you use a dedicated video host such as Vimeo Pro, Wistia, VooPlayer, etc.
You can host your videos in WordPress, but it’s not recommended for performance reasons and you’ll want to check with your web host to ensure they allow this.
In CustomerHub, you can export your videos by simply downloading them:
Then you can upload the downloaded video files to your video platform of choice. Once uploaded to a hosting platform, you can embed them on any WordPress page/post and Memberium can protect it.
Partials
Memberium supports partials which will allow you to use the same strategies for making pages as you were using in CustomerHub.

Creating Membership Levels
In CustomerHub, your member groups can be made up of tags like I’m showing in the screenshot below. Memberium memberships work the same way. If a user has a certain tag, they have a membership you’ve linked to that tag.
Since we already have tags in Infusionsoft that were used in CustomerHub, we’ll want to create membership levels from those existing tags. The first step is to go to Memberium > Memberships
On this screen, you’ll type in a membership level name and then in the “Access Tag” dropdown, you’ll select the tag that was created when you imported your contacts. (remember Infusionsoft created these tags for us during the import)
You’ll repeat these steps for each of your desired membership levels.
Protecting Content with Membership Levels
After you’ve created your membership levels, go through your existing content and protect it with the newly created membership levels.
The main difference in protection between MemberPress and Memberium is that with Memberium – you set the protections on each page rather than a separate rules page. By default, child/sub pages will inherit the protections set on the parent page.
As shown in the screenshot above, protecting pages with Memberships is simple. All you need to do is check the box for the desired membership level. At that point, members without the level won’t be able to access the page.
