Plugins add functionality to your website – here are the ones we often use and recommend:
Themes
Almost all themes work with Memberium. The exceptions are themes that have their own content protection system built in that can’t be disabled. Below, we’ve listed some of the popular themes that we see customers using, along with a brief blurb on each from their sites.
A note on using drag-and-drop themes or page composers: Not all design elements in themes support shortcodes. Many drag-and-drop themes include some kind of “raw” or “code” block, and typically these blocks are designed for unprocessed output. Generally text or content blocks support shortcodes, and code or raw blocks should be avoided. An example of this would be Avada’s code block element type.
Less obvious is that some elements simply can’t contain other shortcodes because of the way that they were coded by their authors. For example in Visual Composer, the Header block doesn’t support shortcodes, and any shortcodes placed into the header blocks will be rewritten so that they are no longer shortcodes.
Use any theme you wish.
Avoid using code or raw blocks with shortcodes.
Astra
We recommend and use the Astra theme on some of our own sites. You may be familiar with the theme if you’ve installed our page templates since we use this theme as the base for the Elementor page templates.

Yoast SEO
WordPress out of the box is already technically quite a good platform for SEO, this was true when Joost wrote his original WordPress SEO article in 2008 (and updated every few months) and it’s still true today, but that doesn’t mean you can’t improve it further! This plugin is written from the ground up by Joost de Valk and his team at Yoast to improve your site’s SEO on all needed aspects. While this WordPress SEO plugin goes the extra mile to take care of all the technical optimization, more on that below, it first and foremost helps you write better content. WordPress SEO forces you to choose a focus keyword when you’re writing your articles, and then makes sure you use that focus keyword everywhere.
