The MakePass scanner is the latest method to create passwords for new members. Rather than relying on an unreliable HTTP POST, this new feature scans your Infusionsoft contact database for new members, generates passwords for them, and then runs a completion action on each contact. The scans run every three minutes.
You can configure your MakePass scanner by going to Memberium->Sync Options
This allows you to set a default prohibited action for pages that are not available to certain levels or that need certain tags to access. You can set the default to: Redirect, Hide Completely, Show Excerpt Only.
Personal Menus is an optional feature available in Memberium that enables you to automatically change your theme’s menus on the fly depending on whether the viewer is logged in, and if they are logged in, which membership level they are. Memberium’s Personal Menus works by scanning the menu locations that are created by your theme and creating additional “virtual” versions of those menu locations. A virtual menu location is created for each of your membership levels, and for logged in users. The original menu location created by the menu is used by default and for logged out visitors.
Badges and achievements are actually quite a bit more sophisticated than a single badge. Achievements are accumulated, and when enough are accumulated to earn the badge, you get the badge, multiple levels of badges can be earned for various achievements.
